I became interested in functional medicine based on not only my own health, but what I heard from others. But, they were still feeling lousy, still had the same issues, and often because they weren’t sleeping well, were unhappy, anxious or were just not feeling the way they felt they should be. Too often, they were being offered anti-depressants and sent on their way.

Even worse, I was hearing women mention that they had gone to their doctor with their issues, and were told nothing was wrong. But, they were still feeling lousy, still had the same issues, and often because they weren’t sleeping well, were unhappy, anxious or were just not feeling the way they felt they should be. Too often, they were being offered anti-depressants and sent on their way.

My experience taught me a valuable lesson: doctors do the best that they can with the information based on how they were trained. This leaves gaps. So, I decided that I was going to provide other options to women. Every body is unique and no one knows their body better than YOU do. I listen! Then, I partner with my clients to address their personal wellness goals and to determine what their unique body needs to function optimally.

My experience taught me a valuable lesson: doctors do the best that they can with the information based on how they were trained. This leaves gaps. So, I decided that I was going to provide other options to women. Every body is unique and no one knows their body better than YOU do. I listen!
