The thing is, we don’t really need to be told what to do to improve our health.
We know the basics — drink enough water, eat whole foods, exercise, get enough sleep, have healthy relationships, etc.
Putting one foot in front of the other is the absolute most important thing we can do to begin reforming our health. What’s the one thing you know you need to start working on?
Mine is, well actually 2 things. First, I need to get back to the gym on a regular basis. Long story but I wasn’t able to exercise since last June and even though I got the okay March 1st I have been slow to do it on a regular basis. I have started now by taking the dogs for a walk every day.
The second thing is getting back into meditation on a daily basis. I have to get back to the baby step thought process – I think, oh if I can’t meditate for an hour, then I’m not going to do it at all.
I am changing my mindset just as I would have my clients think about doing. It doesn’t matter if I meditate for 5 minutes or an hour as long as I meditate… so I started today with 5 minutes.
